Word of Inspiration: Encourage Someone TODAY!

"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so." (Proverbs 3:27)

Give compliments, encouragement, free time, and special gifts to those who have worked hard, keep trying and don't give up, who are loyal, steadfast, and good to you. If you are a manager in a company and you have the power to reward your staff, do it. They will appreciate your kindness and encouragement even when you can't give them a raise in salary. People want to know they are appreciated. Do this for your children, your Sunday school class, for any clubs you might lead. Don't withhold good things from others. Encourage someone in your life--today!

Word of Inspiration: Let God Be Your Confidence

"Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes. For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught." (Proverbs 3:25-26)

It's very clear from these verses that trouble from the wicked will come. Clearly, it's not a matter of if, but when. Too often, we are busy concentrating on the circumstances around us, and not enough on the Word of God. We worry, fret, and doubt our faith. In short, we lose confidence in ourselves for what must be done and to be able to stand against the winds of attack. We forget that the battle is already won. Victory is already ours. We need to take confidence in this.

We don't have to do anything, but believe that God will be our shield as He has promised. God will trip up the enemy and block him, all we have to do is pray without ceasing, speak the Word, and believe. If doubts comes, don't give up. That is what Satan wants you to do. Keep speaking God's Word and it will be done. There is ultimate POWER in the Word of God! Use it.

Word of Inspiration: Pray for Wisdom & Understanding

"Happy is the man who finds wisdom. and the man who gains understanding. For her proceeds are better than the profit of silver, and her gain than fine gold." (Proverbs 3:13-14)

Wisdom is one of those gifts you can't put a value on, since its value is limitless. With wisdom we can find ways to make our situations better without waiting and hoping it will get better on its own or through the work and/or authority of someone else. Rather than waiting for an inheritance or how to make do with what we have, we can use wisdom to prosper ourselves and our family. We can invest wisely. With wisdom we can see multiple sides of an issue and think strategically how to better solve differences, bring peace and compromise. Regardless of our career choice, the level of our spiritual journey, or our past history, wisdom and understanding will help us make better choices in whatever we do. I encourage you to pray for wisdom and diligently seek it.

Word of Inspiration: YOU Have Eternal Value

“Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:25-26)

The spirit inside us craves nothing, but completeness in Jesus whether in heaven or on earth. Our flesh and physical heart desires different things, but they are mortal and will one day fail us. When things go wrong and everything seems to be going against you, concentrate on what REALLY matters.

All the busy day-to-day stuff here on earth will fade. Your home and job are temporary. Your season is temporary. Where is your eternal value? When you compare everything else to that, nothing else matters. YOU are a son or daughter in Christ Jesus and YOU have eternal value, not what you accomplish or don't accomplish, not what you make or don't make, not who you friend or unfriend, not who you marry or don't marry.
