This is an old blog that I started in 2006. I keep it because it has a lot of historical data and people still come here. As of September 2016, no new updates will be made here. All new blog posts and writing/publishing related news will be posted over on my new site at www.jenniferhudsontaylor.net.

Word of Inspiration: When God Seals the Hand of Man

”God thunders marvelously with His voice, and He does not restrain them when His voice is heard. He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth.' Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, that all men may know His work.” (Job 37:5-7)

I've always been fascinated by how God just speaks the word and it is done. It may be immediate or it may take time, but it is done.

The last part of this scripture has captivated me where it says He seals the hand of every man that all men may know his work. To me, this means there are going to be times when the work of our hands may not produce the fruit we're hoping for.  In spite of how hard we work to make something happen, God will provide the result in His way and in His time, which is greater than ours, so that we know it came from Him and no one else. This is when a circumstance is beyond our ability to fix it. God steps in and creates the miracles in our lives that build our faith and remind us of who Christ is in our lives--that He is all powerful, He cares, and He will provide and heal.
