With the announcement of HarperCollins buying Thomas Nelson this month, Agent Steve Laube wrote a great blog post on Who Owns Whom in Publishing. He begins with the big six and then points out that there are still plenty of independents left in Christian Publishing.
Book publishing is evolving to better options that are cheaper and affordable for retailers who can't afford to stock as many book selections as they'd like, but can invest in an OEM Book Machine that prints on demand.
