If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, then you probably know that my sister had a beautiful little girl yesterday. Sarah Elizabeth Moore is 7lbs and 12 oz. I was planning a baby shower this weekend, but my little niece arrived a few weeks early. We'll still have the shower, but we're not sure if baby Sarah will make it as the guest of honor or not.
She arrived on my grandfather's birthday. She's named for my mother, Janice Sarah Robbins, who is named for my great-grandmother, Flora Sarah Saferight (b. 1890), who was named for her mother, Sarah Esther Wall (b. 1869). So the tradition carries on! My sister is doing well and I'm so proud of her and happy for her. (Her middle name, Elizabeth is also named for her daddy's grandmother.)
I've been busy, deep in revisions on a Regency novel. I'm on the last two chapters and will have it ready for my agent on Monday when he returns from the ACFW Conference this weekend. Then I plan to take a short break to catch up on some of my reading. I'll finish Rita Gerlach's Surrender the Wind, and I'll start Golden Keyes Parsons's, A Prisoner of Versailles. Next week, I'll start working on critiques, as I fell behind during my revisions.
On Sunday, I will draw a name for the winner of Tammy Barley's Love's Rescue.

congrats on the baby! my first came early and went to the baby shower with me.
Congrats Aunt Jennifer! :O)
Nothing like a new baby to give life a richer hue!
Every time I visit here I feel like I ought to be writing something. Then I could use all the resources you provide, and maybe even call on you for a review.
I get over it.
Blessings,
Kathleen
Thanks everyone! I still haven't been able to see my new niece. My daughter came down with the Swine Flu (H1N1) over the weekend. I hope to see her soon.
Kathleen (a.k.a Sassy Granny), I still love your visits whether you're a writer or not. You always have something enlightening to say. Maybe my blog will turn you into an avid Christian fiction reader!
